Service includes mowing, trimming, blowing, and edging of all hard surfaces. Mowing services are provided on a weekly schedule.

Mulch & Stone Installation

We offer many choices of hardwood mulches, pine bark, pine straw, and landscape stone. In addition to regular mowing, your lawn needs scheduled treatments to keep the grass healthy and well fed. Our team is trained in appropriate turf treatment plans for the turf type grasses that grow in Tennessee. Our turf maintenance services range from soil analysis to determine nutrient surplus or deficiency to scheduled fertilization treatments. We will develop a customized service plan for your property to keep it healthy and thriving.

Landscape and Holiday Lighting
Landscape lighting serves many purposes and provides many benefits to your home. Many homes utilize lighting to accent landscaping and architectural features of the home. Other benefits include added safety and security, beautification, and increased property value. Beginning in 2022, Sumner Mowing will be offering holiday lighting and decorating services.
Spring & Fall Clean Up
Fall in Tennessee is nothing short of breathtaking. The amazing color display that our trees present each year is truly beautiful. These leaves then shed and accumulate on your property. Excessive leaves can encourage mold and fungal growth, provide a safe haven for pests, and retain excess moisture that can damage your property. Our seasonal services include leaf removal, gutter cleaning, and leaf mulching.
Aeration, Seeding, and Sod
Typical turf varieties in our growing zone are Fescue, Rye, Zoysia, or Bermuda. Aeration and seeding services are primarily provided from September - October for cool season grasses. For warm season grasses, these services are conducted in the Spring when soil temperatures are above 70 degrees. We also offer sod installation and recommend sod over seeding when working with fresh ground typically found in new construction.
